Factors and Discounters Association to discuss education courses for IFD members

At the last Institute for Factors and Discounters of Australia and New Zealand (IFD) meeting, members discussed the possibility of establishing education courses tailored to factoring and discounting in Australia. Discussions have now been held with the Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM) who will prepare a proposal in this regard for consideration at the 4 September meeting.

Also discussed at the last meeting was the availability of courses through the UK Factors and Discounters Association (FDA). An outline of the FDA entry-level (foundation) course is available from John Bills, secretary, IFD, and members are requested to contact me if you wish personnel within your organisation to undertake the FDA course.

You can visit the FDA website at www.factors.org.uk.
