Factoring Slovenskej Sporitelne (Factoring SLSP) reported a turnover of Skk5,188 bn (Ђ129.8m) in H1 of 2004. Its share of total factoring turnover in Slovakia was 45 per cent.
Compared to the first six months of 2003 Factoring SLSP increased its turnover by 29 per cent (Skk 4,141 bn). “Company development is one of the main priorities in the future”, said Eva Guttlerova, spokeswoman for Factoring SLSP.
Factoring SLSP offers a wide range of factoring services including expot, import, domestic and purchase factoring. Corporate segment clientsdominate at present. Bigger interest for factoring services from small- and medium-sized businesses is expected in a future.
Factoring SLSP’s main shareholders are Slovenska Sporitelna with 90 per cent share and Factoring Ceskej Sporitelne with the rest 10 per cent of shares. The company began operations in April 2003.
