Exim Bank floats on the stock exchange


Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Ltd (EXIM) will make debut on Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) tomorrow (Saturday).

The bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements to get listed on the CSE. The authorised capital of the bank is Tk 1bn and paid up capital is Tk 721,912,500.

The face value of a share is Tk 100 and the premium per share on the initial public offering (IPO) is Tk 30.

Exim Bank closed its IPO subscription on July 28 last and offered to the public for subscription of Tk 408m and oversubscribed of Tk 4835bn, which is over 11.85 times.

The trading schedule and working hours of the CSE have been refixed for the month of Ramadan. The main trading session will begin at 10.20 am and continue till 12.50pm. The post-closing session of the trading has been refixed at 1.05pm to 1.35pm.
