EUROFACTOR UK has posted pre-tax profits of Ј1.3 million for 2003 in spite of some of the toughest trading conditions in years. Results for the year ending 31 December 2003 show turnover for the UK rose to Ј8.91 million, up three per cent on the previous year's figure of Ј8.65 million.
Commenting on the impressive results, EUROFACTOR UK managing director David Smith said: "I am delighted to be able to announce pre-tax profits of Ј1.3 million, particularly after such a difficult previous year, when we recorded a small loss, largely due to the closure of our Dutch operation."
Smith attributed EUROFACTOR's success during the last year to strong trading performances from its London operation and a full years profitable contribution from the Thames Valley operation. It has also opened offices in the Midlands, North West and South Wales, and all three centres are expected to make a positive contribution to EUROFACTOR's performance by the end of this year.
