Euro Sales Finance (ESF) has appointed Bluestone Software Inc. to power its dedicated web portal, the first of its kind in the asset finance market, using its Total-e-Business facility.
The new system offers a scalable, fault tolerant, integrated platform that is accessible through all electronic delivery systems as well as via WAP. It was chosen because it is Java and XML-based and allows for integration of infrastructure, content management and personalised system arrangements while providing for all e-business needs. It is based on Sun Microsystems’ J2EE (java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition).
Bluestone’s system will provide a secure trading environment for ESF’s online business and connect its network of European clients and suppliers, so streamlining its asset funding operations and facilitating expansion.
