Euler Hermes Q1 turnover up


Euler Hermes, the French credit insurance company, saw its turnover rise by 7.2 per cent, to €478m, in the first quarter of 2005. Most of the quarterly growth stems from the development of the insurer's commercial activities. The group has reported a high level of new business during the period in question, particularly in Germany and France, where revenues totalled €93m, up 2 per cent. Euler Hermes, part of the Franco-German insurance group AGF-Allianz,Euler Hermes, saw its shares close up 0.67 per cent yesterday in Paris, at €60.30. Abstracted from Les Echos
