A grand dinner at the Renaissance Minsk Hotel, Minsk on the 28th March was the scene of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) e-learning Graduation Ceremony. Here, the top graduates from the e-learning programme were recognised with awards and prizes. The Awards Dinner was in the evening following the Worldwide Expert Conference on Trade Finance, an annual event which has been held in Minsk for the last four years and linked to the Awards ceremony.
The EBRD and the ICC launched the Trade Finance e-Learning Programme in May 2010, with the aim of helping banks involved in the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme to achieve best international practice in trade finance. According to the EBRD, since the launch more than 300 trade specialists from over 80 banks across eastern Europe and central Asia have taken part in the e-Learning Programme.
Michael Bickers, Managing Director, BCR Publishing presents Sara Mostafa Ahmed Fahmy Aly Maghraby – Arab African International Bank, Egypt with her award, along with Rudolf Putz, Head of the Trade Facilitation Programme, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
