The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will invest a total of Ђ300m in Hungary this year, according to Hubert Warsmann, head of the bank's Budapest office.
Addressing a conference organised by EBRD and the Hungarian Export Credit Insurance Co. in Budapest on Monday, Warsmann said the EBRD had invested Ђ1.5bn in Hungary over the past ten years mainly to promote the implementation of projects to the tune of Ђ6bn.
"EBRD considers Hungary an important partner, which will play an important role in capital export and foreign investments in the future," he said.
