The Italian factoring market in 2023 witnessed a turnover of nearly €290 billion, remaining largely stable compared to the previous year (+0.87%), according to Assifact - Associazione Italiana per il factoring.
Maturity factoring and supply chain finance contributed significantly to the turnover, accounting for 17.73 per cent (€51.28bn) and 9.60 per cent (€27.81bn), respectively, while international factoring accounted for the remaining 22.10% (€63.93 billion).
