Direct foreign investments grow about 63.3%


Direct foreign investments (DFI) in Ukraine grew by 63.3% ($741.6m) in January-September, the State Statistics Committee announced. The total volume of DFI had reached $6.2129bn by 1 October, by $168m in the third quarter, $320.8m in the second quarter, and $252.8m in the first quarter.

In January-September a total of $954.1m was invested, however, the foreign investors withdrew $346.3m. The direct investment from the CIS totalled $41.3m. The investment came from 114 countries.
