CSOB Leasing expects contracts worth SKK 7.251bn for 2004


Leasing company CSOB Leasing estimates the number of contracts concluded this year at 8,700. Their total acquisition price should be SKK7.251bn. Lucia Rosova from CSOB Leasing expects company's 2004 turnover to go up about 8 per cent compared to last year.

The company attributes the rise to its long-term strategy, new products and the possibility to select financing. After the law on the value added tax was amended in the summer 2004 and paralyzed the market of leasing used cars, CSOB Leasing prepared a new product modified to installment sale of used cars. In the segment of machinery leasing, the number of contracts is estimated at 1,400 when the acquisition price should total SKK2.016bn, CSOB company representatives informed

Last year the leasing company signed 9,179 leasing contracts and reported a turnover of SKK 6.6bn.
