Credit line for SMEs of Ft 25 bn

The Economy and Transport Ministry, the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Kht (ITD Hungary) and the Hungarian Development Bank Rt (MFB) have jointly launched a programme to assist small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) in the processing industry supplying large industrial companies or interested in becoming suppliers.  The main element of the initiative is a low-interest credit line with Ft 25 bn funding. The ministry is hopeful that the programme will not only facilitate suppliers’ activities but also encourage large investors to plan for the long-term in Hungary.  Source: Budapest Business Journal
