A high-profile presentation on creative import solutions by UAE-USA joint venture firm, Al Taasees, was opened in Dubai yesterday by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Khalfan bin Khirbash, UAE Minister of State for Finance and Industry.
Welcoming the joint venture and its creative approach towards boosting the commercial status of the UAE and Dubai, Dr. Khirbash said Al Taasees would particularly promote trade relations between the UAE and USA.
Dr. Khirbash believes that Taasees will promote Dubai’s status as an international trade centre, saying that Dubai's annual imports from the USA are below 10 per cent, while the potential to increase it is extremely high.
Al Taasees offers to help maximise this potential by helping importers across the Middle East and North Africa to source any requirement at highly competitive financing through its American partners.
