Both Liberal Democrat and Labour party have promised measures to be taken against late payments in the UK.
Commenting on the topic of late payments, Niels Turfboer, Managing Director at Spotcap, said:
“50,000 UK businesses close each year due to late payments, according to the Federation of Small Businesses. That’s a shocking number which could be easily prevented. There is considerable room for the government and politicians to improve best practice and making late payers more accountable.
