CIBC has promoted Brandon Barr (pictured) as Head of Asset-Based Lending Group. In his new role, Barr will be in charge of providing strategic guidance on portfolio related issues and discovering new business segments, along with managing the whole ABL team.
Barr will continue to report to Bruce Denby who build the foundation of ABL business in CIBC, and Bob Corsentino, who is transitioning to a new part-time role as the senior director and credit risk advisor for CIBC’s U.S. Commercial Banking and ABL teams.
