Central Bank decreases interest rates again; positive trend in economy continues


The positive atmosphere in the economy continued with another fall in interest rates. With a 3-point drop on Thursday (18 September), the Central Bank decreased the rates for the fifth time and short-term rates dropped from 32 per cent to 29 per cent.

The World Economic Outlook Report, prepared by the International Money Fund (IMF), preceded the Central Bank's announcement on decreasing interest rates.
