China Export & Credit Insurance Co. (CECIC) and HuaTai Insurance Company of China Ltd. finalised a partnership agreement in Beijing on 24 July. Following the agreement, the parties will cooperate in providing a full range of insurance services for trading companies covering all risks for export trading.
Kang Ruoxi, general manager of CECIC, said that trade companies increasingly require insurance services and products related to export trading. In addition to export credit insurance services, they also need property insurance and liability insurance. As no insurance company offers both services in China, CECIC and HuaTai co-launched the service to meet these requirements of trading companies.
Wang Zimu, president of HuaTai, said that the complementary cooperation is designed to share resources in market expansion and market fostering.
