Cattles Invoice Finance reports Ј1.7m profit in 2002

Cattles Invoice Finance Group (Cattles IF) has recorded a pre-tax profit of Ј1.78m (Ј1.30m: 2001) and a gross income figure of Ј9.83m for the year ended 31 December 2002 (Ј8.09m: 2001).

Cattles IF is the corporate funding arm of Cattles plc, a UK Top 250 Financial Services company. It provides cashflow and working capital solutions from offices in Manchester, Oxford, Leeds and Glasgow.

Doug Crawford, Cattles’ group managing director, told BCR: “The rise in turnover and profit can be attributed largely to a concerted effort by the company to decrease client churn through an increased focus on quality and improved customer service along with a continued focus on sensible creative risk management.

“As a result, client retention has improved dramatically. The success is also due to the volumes of new business that we have written over the past year.”
