Cattles Invoice Finance funds Plastic Pallets contract

Tamworth-based Plastic Pallets has secured a Ј1.8 million contract with the Grampian Country Food Group following a funding partnership with Cattles Invoice Finance, which will create a number of new jobs in the business.

Plastic Pallets, established in December 2002, supplies plastic pallets, trays and boxes to a number of industries, including the food and drink, pharmaceutical, healthcare, logistics and distribution sectors, offering a complete service from daily delivery to collection and washing.

The contract with Grampian County Food Group involves supplying 200 pallets and 7,000 trays a day to the company’s two sites in Flintshire and Anglesey. David Peggie, managing director of Plastic Pallets, said: "We have been in talks with Grampian since we established Plastic Pallets over a year ago, so we were delighted to finally be awarded the contract."
