Cattles funds MBO with invoice finance deal

Cattles Invoice Finance has funded the management buy-out (MBO) of Bradford-based Slimline Windows Limited, manufacturers and installers of new pvc windows and doors, saving over 50 jobs.

Cattles Invoice Finance helped to finance the MBO by providing funding from outstanding invoices, and now works in partnership with Slimline Windows to grow the new business by ensuring a good level of working capital on an on-going basis.

Richard Lee and Graham Benfield led the MBO after Slimline Windows (Yorks) Limited, as the company was known, went into receivership in June this year.

Gavin Stewart, who led the deal on behalf of Cattles Invoice Finance says: "Graham and Richard wanted to retain control over the business following the MBO, which ruled out private equity as a funding option.
