Businesses make it easy for fraudsters to commit Company ID fraud


Businesses are unknowingly handing bin loads of personal and company information to criminals which is being used to fuel a boom in identity fraud, according to new research by Experian® in partnership with the London Borough of Camden. The research reveals that - in spite of tight data protection legislation - UK businesses are binning vast quantities of confidential information on clients, individual customers, employees and directors with little or no attempt to shred or destroy the data.
