BBVA has decided to improve the conditions of its sustainable 'confirming' for companies that are suppliers to its clients in the event that they have a commitment to sustainability, as indicated by the bank in a statement last Friday.
The bank has specified that it has a team of dedicated specialists that offers information and solutions to buyers and suppliers on the sustainable actions they carry out; it has tools that provide quantifiable indicators to evaluate each scenario; and monitors the supplier for any needs it may have, when until now its role was more limited.
