Banking system posts US$594mn profits in November but show decrease in factoring


Chile's banking system had profits totaling 492bn pesos (US$594mn) for November, up 7.03% compared to the previous month, banking regulator SBIF said in a statement.

However, November's profits were down 10.3% compared to the same month last year.

Factoring had shrunk by 2.99% compared with the previous month.
