Colombia's largest bank Bancolombia announced a new programme designed to provide consulting and support services to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Bancolombia has offered a wide range of services to over 150 SMEs through a programme launched in 2002.
Services offered include promotion, export development, business management, financial management, human resources and related consulting services.
Many Colombian banks have shifted their focus toward the emerging micro credit market and SME financing, as many large corporations continue looking to capital markets to raise funds.
