Banco Santander-Chile and Banco Santiago Merge


Banco Santander Chile and Banco Santiago merged last Thursday. The merged bank has been named Banco Santander-Chile.

Banco Santiago is a universal bank that provides general banking services to individuals, medium-sized companies and large corporations through its nationwide branch network. The bank owned factoring, leasing, stockbroking, mutual and investment fund management, financial advisory, insurance broking and collection services subsidiaries. The factoring subsidiary was known as Santiago Factoring.

Banco Santander Central Hispano is Spain’s largest bank and one of the largest financial institutions in Latin America. Banco Santander also have a factoring subsidiary which is called Santander Factoring.
