Credit insurance company PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) has agreed to cooperate with Korea Technology Credit Guarantee Fund (Kotec) from South Korea to guarantee export credits for Indonesian traders importing goods from that country.
Askrindo president Jati L. Mangunsong said the agreement is expected to help facilitate Indonesian companies import cheap industrial basic materials and technologies from South Korea.
He said in 2002 and so far in 2003, there have been 28 Korean companies in Indonesia using Askrindo products.
