The Asian Development Bank on Wednesday approved a loan of US$85 million to a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) export development project of Indonesia, which will promote growth and job creation in the country.
The new facility will also improve the communication between banks and SMEs to seek more aggressive lending efforts by the banks and more effective borrowing by SMEs, the ADB said.
Part of the grant will support project identification in Bali and surrounding provinces, where export-oriented businesses were affected by the October 2002 bombings.
