AMF approves Natexis withdrawal bid for Coface


France's financial markets authority (AMF) has approved French bank Natexis Banques Populaires' public withdrawal offer for French credit insurance group Coface.

Natexis will offer Ђ73.50 per share on 259,072 shares not in its possession, plus 53,100 shares from subscription options attributed in December 1999 and 255,649 from options attributed in December 2000. The AMF has instructed French stock market operator Euronext to continue its suspension of Coface shares for the time being.
