Almost 60 per cent of Peruvian companies now use factoring
Factoring has been growing rapidly in Peru over the last few years. According to the Peruvian Factoring Association total factoring volume rose 60 per cent in 2021 to US$5.59bn, which is more than 50 per cent higher than it was before the COVID pandemic. Now, a survey by Peruvian fintech company Rextie, (a specialist dollar exchange service), illustrates this growth more explicitly showing that 56 per cent of companies are using factoring as a way of financing their business.
