Afreximbank releases audited 2018 financial statements, shows strong performance


The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has released its abridged audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2018, showing strong financial and operational performance, with total comprehensive income for the year amounting to US$285.4m.

The total comprehensive income reflects a solid growth of 24% compared to the prior year performance of US$229.8m and was achieved mainly due to higher net income in 2018 amounting to US$275.9m compared to US$220.5m in 2017.
