ABS Global Factoring considers stock market flotation

ABS Global Factoring, the German factoring company, says that it is considering a flotation on the stock market. The company says that this is most likely to take place in 2005 or 2006. ABS would be the first company in this sector to be floated on the stock market in Germany.

The company claims that the factoring sector is currently experiencing an upturn. Small- and medium-sized companies are increasingly showing an interest in factoring, and the sector is achieving growth rates in double figures. This year, ABS is planning a capital increase, and is aiming to achieve a turnover of around Ђ330m to Ђ350m. In 2004, the company's turnover amounted to Ђ225m.
