3i Infotech announces results for year and quarter ended 31 March
3i Infotech Limited, a global provider of IT solutions and services, has announced its operating results for the quarter and year ended March 2006. Consolidated results for the year ended 31 March 2006 show revenue for the year at Rs. 4240 million, a year-on-year growth of 45%. Profit before interest depreciation and tax (PBIDT)grew by 81% to Rs. 920 million, representing a PBIDT margin of 21.7%, compared to 17.4% for the previous year. Profit after tax, at Rs. 577 million, shows a net margin of 13.6%, compared to 11% in the previous year. Consolidated results for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 showed revenue for the quarter of Rs. 1216 million, up 49% from the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
