Karine Massolo

Global Head of Global Debt Markets Sales, HSBC Bank

Karine started her career in 1997 at JP Morgan, where she spent several years in
Equity-Linked Sales covering Asset Managers, Insurance companies, Pension Funds
and Hedge Funds. In 2005, she moved to Credit Sales, distributing debt products
including investment grade bonds, high yield bonds, loans and credit default swaps to
Hedge Funds globally. In 2012, she became Head of European High Yield Sales with
a focus on leveraged finance, before moving to develop Private Credit offerings and
bespoke Capital Solutions for clients.

In 2022, she joined HSBC to become Co-Head of EMEA Credit and Solutions Sales.
Subsequently, in 2025, she was appointed as the Global Head of Global Debt Markets
Sales, leading the Sales organisation for Markets globally across Credit, Rates,
Solutions and Repo
