German factoring grow despite falling international business

Contrary to general economic developments, the members of the German Factoring Association (DFV) were able to achieve solid sales growth in the first half of the year. Overall, the factoring sales of the members of the DFV increased by 5.7 per cent compared to the same period last year and amounted to around €192.8 billion euros in 2023. A key driver of sales growth this time was the national business, which recorded an increase of 12.6 per cent and now amounts to around €142bn.
