As we enter the Chinese New Year of the Horse, the U.S. Fed’s decision to begin tapering in early 2014 has put a damper on the festive mood. An official from China’s Ministry of Commerce has commented that China could face a difficult outlook for foreign trade in the New Year. How would such tapering affect trade and trade finance?
