Stenham-Heller, a leading trade finance company, has launched a new service called ‘Opportunity Finance’.
The service has been developed in response to research by Stenham-Heller, which suggests that over one in five of the UK’s most entrepreneurial businesses, that make their money through buying and selling goods, have inadequate finance – and this is radically inhibiting their growth.
The 200 businesses studied report that they face a climate of opportunity. Sales could increase by 22%, almost 70% plan to increase their product range, half plan to expand into new UK markets and almost a third envisage growing their overseas sales. However 21% have insufficient funds to deliver these plans.
