New Senior Appointments at Compagnie Generale d’Affacturage


Jean Philippe Guillaume has been appointed managing director of French factoring company Compagnie Generale d'Affacturage (CGA), which is part of French bank Societe Generale. Mr Guillaume started his career at Societe Generale in 1992 and, after several positions as consultant and auditor, was appointed assistant managing director of CGA in 1999.

Jean Jacques Ogier has been appointed chairman of CGA. He started working at Societe Generale in 1972 and was general manager of the Societe Generale Marocaine de Banques from 1983 until 1987. Between 1988 and 1991 he was general manager of Societe Generale Hong Kong and deputy chairman of Soge Asia. Mr Ogier then became deputy chairman of Societe Generale USA, a post which he held until 1995. In 1995, he was appointed director for finance and development and was put in charge of the distribution network in 1998.
