More support for Africa’s young entrepreneurs from African Development Bank and Microsoft


Africa’s young population is expected to double in less than 30 years rising to 830m by 2050. Meanwhile, employment opportunities continually lag behind population growth. Hence the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) keenness to support the development of young entrepreneurs as one means of job creation. This strategy has been strengthened by the expansion of its partnership with Microsoft.
