Monte Carlo, Europe’s playground for the rich and famous, was the setting for the 6th Annual Factors and Discounters Association’s conference on Wednesday and Thursday last week.
More than 300 factors, discounters, asset-based lenders, corporate recovery specialists and consultants attended, benefiting from two days of informative factoring and industry related presentations.
Tony Cox, Chairman of the FDA, opened the conference on Wednesday morning. He highlighted the important aims of the association and outlined the plans for the future, predicting a doubling in annual factoring volume of association members to Ј150 billion by 2007. He told delegates about the FDA’s aim to become more integrated with the rest of Europe – the association plans to establish links with other European associations.
