Chilean proposed law on payment terms “not feasible”

A few weeks ago, Chilean president, Sebastián Piñera, spoke about the law of term payment, which will impact SMEs in terms of working capital and investment, "ending abusive arrears to these companies, setting maximum payment terms to 60 days."

The proposal, very much in line with what the Asociación Emprendedores de Chile (Asech) is requesting, "is good in its essence, has a fair sense, but it seems unfeasible, almost utopian", says Mario Fernández, CEO of Gosocket.
