Bob Gravestijn
Strategic Ideator and Business Booster, The Value Department

Bob Gravestijn is a digital business model enthusiast and specialises in business model innovation, ecosystems, partnerships and platforms. He is recognised for his expertise on supply chains, working capital, business sustainability management, and web3: the blockchain-based web including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, decentralised finance, and more. At present, Bob works both as a strategic ideator and business booster at The Value Department, and as a business developer for ABN AMRO Bank. In addition, he's a subject matter expert for the Global Supply Chain Finance Forum, has been featured in BCR's World Factoring Yearbook 2022 and has spoken at several events, including WTO's Global Trade and Blockchain Forum, and SCCMP EDGE conference. For Bob, helping others and businesses reaching their full potential is the most rewarding part of his work.

Frans Kempen
Blockchain Lead for Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions, IBM Netherlands

Frans Kempen is the blockchain lead for Supply Chain Services in IBM Netherlands. He is also hands-on managing 2 blockchain delivery programs which will go into production end 2019 in the Supply Chain industry. Frans has a degree in Civil Engineering and in Business Economics. After starting at Unilever in Marketing Management, he has worked for KPN and British Telecom in IT and focussed on implementing new technologies and IT Services to create new business models. In 2006, Frans joined IBM and was responsible for the Publishing and Communication industry. From 2010 onwards, he has been leading the Microsoft practise at IBM. Since 2015, Frans has a keen interest in Distributed Ledger Technology and the related cryptocurrencies. He has set up the IBM Netherlands blockchain practise to develop blockchain-based solutions for IBM enterprise clients. Frans brings to the table a deep-rooted understanding of IT and Blockchain technology and hands-on business experience.

Pieter Klapwijk
Professor in Supply Chain Economics, Nyenrode Business Universiteit

Pieter Klapwijk has been Professor in Supply Chain Economics at Nyenrode Business Universiteit for almost 20 years. Since 2011 Klapwijk has been actively involved with the development of Supply Chain Finance. Together with Michiel Steeman he co-founded the Supply Chain Finance Community of which he is a board member ever since. Since the beginning of 2016 Pieter Klapwijks research is centered around the application of blockchain technologies in Supply Chains. In 2017, Klapwijk co-founded a startup company AgOS facilitating “End-to-End” Supply Chain Finance in agricultural chains using block chain technologies. His latest research focuses on all finance related costs throughout various Supply Chains and the substantial savings which could be obtained through a properly structured “Supply Chain Finance House”.

Aditya Menon
CEO, Tallyx

Aditya is the CEO of Tallyx - building a decentralized blockchain platform that hands control of supply and distribution finance back to buyers and sellers, through tokenization of trade assets. He is a former Managing Director and co-founder of Citi Global Digital Strategy, three-time entrepreneur – twice in the trade finance and cash management systems area, with successful exits to Sungard and ACI Worldwide. He was also the first CIO of Yes Bank and Group CIO of mPhasis. He has been a mobile payments evangelist and pioneer as CPO of Obopay. He is an industry visionary, speaker and author in the digital transformation of financial services (Citi Bank of the Future). He has driven the successful digital transformation of Citi across both consumer and corporate banking for over half a decade, running a strategy consulting division at the top of the firm. He co-led the Digital Industry Advisory on the digital transformation of industries and the future of corporate treasury for Citi Treasury and Trade Services.

Shona Tatchell
CEO and Founder, Halotrade

Shona is the CEO and Founder of Halotrade, a blockchain enabled Fintech start up focussed on the delivery of sustainable supply chain financing. Formerly Head of Innovation for Trade & Working Capital in Barclays working in partnership with Fintech companies which will shape the future of the global Trade business. Shona was a Director with Barclays for 6 years, and was previously Global Head of FIG Trade, delivering trade finance, trade services and risk mitigation solutions to bank and non-bank clients globally. She joined from HSBC where she was a senior manager in the European Structured Trade and Advisory team within Global Trade and Supply Chain. She began her career with The Chase Manhattan Bank graduating from the European Credit Training Programme and joined Chase’s Trade Finance team, where she spent 13 years working in London, the Middle East and Singapore where she headed Chase’s Trade Finance business. Shona owned her own successful hotel business in Scotland for several years after leaving Asia, before returning to banking in 2008. Shona holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Modern Languages (French and German) from Oxford University.
