As the industry continues to prosper and innovate, the time is ripe to recognise those leading the way and celebrate industry success.

The Awards are international in scale, FREE to enter and open to all companies involved in the receivables finance ecosystem.

Entries for this year's awards are now closed. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner in March.

The Awards Gala Dinner - 6th March 2019

The evening’s event is exclusively black tie and brings together the crème de la crème of the industry where attendees can network with representatives from leading commercial banks, factors, invoice discounters, corporates, fintechs and AltFin platforms, credit insurers, law firms, brokers and consultants.

Guests will be treated to a welcome drinks reception, a delicious three course meal chosen exclusively for the event and finally, the announcement of the award winners!

This year's awards will be presented by the BBC's Rick Kelsey.

André Casterman
Independent Consultant
André Casterman is an independent consultant, advising financial institution and fintech clients on data management, trade finance, and capital markets innovations. André spent 20+ years at SWIFT, leading various innovations in the inter-bank payments, corporate treasury, and trade finance markets. During that time, he established an institutional partnership between SWIFT and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and created the first digital trade settlement instrument. André chairs the Fintech Committee of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA) with a focus on helping banks take advantage of fintech innovations to automate trade finance operations and establish the business as an investable asset class through use of data analytics and artificial intelligence. André holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics from ICHEC Brussels Management School and two master’s degrees in Computer Sciences and in Management from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
Scott Ettien Scott Ettien
Executive Vice President, Trade Credit Practice Leader, Willis Towers Watson
Scott is the US Trade Credit Practice Leader for Willis Towers Watson. Scott and his team specialise in providing trade credit insurance expertise for financial institutions and corporations. Scott joined Willis in 2010 and has built a strong team, mostly made up of former trade credit policy and risk underwriters to place and service programmes for various clients. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2010, Scott worked at Atradius Trade Credit Insurance, Inc., which is the second largest credit insurance company worldwide. Over his 25 years at Atradius, he held positions in accounting, direct sales, and was the head of sales for the East Region. Scott spent the last five years as the Director of Global for North America. In that role, he was responsible for the commercial development of large global business from both a sales and commercial underwriting perspective. Scott was elected to the Atradius Trade Credit Insurance, Inc. Board of Directors in 2005. Scott holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Baltimore.
Mark Mandula
Managing Partner, United Capital Funding
Mr. Mandula is Chief Marketing Officer of United Capital Funding. Prior to becoming an Owner and Principal of United Capital, he was Principal and Shareholder in an Investment Banking Firm that completed over 200+ Bank Industry Mergers and Acquisitions over a 13 year span. Following that, he was Owner and CEO of a leading Credit Industry business and was nominated as an Entrepreneur of the Year. He is currently responsible for all of strategic marketing activities for his firm, including Client Lifecycle management, new client marketing, client retention, business development related functions, coordination of all public relations, media, creative, advertising, website design and optimization, and is constantly seeking out new ways to better serve and reach entrepreneurial clients nationally.  He holds a MBA and BBA in Finance and also is a 2012 graduate of the Certificate in Private Capital Markets from the Graziadio Graduate School of Business at Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. He has been actively involved in multiple Nonprofit Boards including Eckerd College, Tampa Bay Research Institute and others. Mark is a regular speaker at international conferences and has had over 100 articles published online and ABA Banking Journal, Mergers & Acquisitions and other Industry publications.
Lionel Taylor
Managing Director, Trade Advisory Network
Lionel is a trade, supply chain and invoice finance specialist with more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles with major financial institutions including RBS, Rabobank, Citibank and Lloyds Banking Group and with non-bank independents. Today, in his role at the Trade Advisory Network, his key areas of expertise include new business strategy, turnaround, organisation design, new product design, product management, marketing, origination, credit, team building and training.
Alecsandra Valasuteanu
Head of Factoring, UniCredit Bank Romania
Alecsandra is currently at UniCredit Bank Romania, a member of UniCredit, a leading European bank, and one of the leading providers of factoring, forfeiting and supply chain financing solutions in Romania, holding a market share of 20%. With more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, Alecsandra started in UniCredit Leasing Romania as Senior Relationship Manager, part of the Equipment and Project Financing Division.
